Important Player Josh Metellus Reveals Thoughts on Special UK Environment

Selected in 2020, Josh Metellus is set to participate in his fourth overseas match, even though the Minnesota team lost in Ireland previously. Earlier, they won in both their previous visits to Tottenham. Metellus remarked, "We must maintain that momentum," noting his enthusiasm for another UK event.

"Usually, when you play, the spectators display identical colors, but while heading to the venue at Tottenham, I saw around thirty-two assorted uniforms—I observed every team," explained the defensive back.

"I exclaimed 'whoa, I believed it was a Vikings game.' But that was amazing to observe, individuals just adore football. I noticed a bunch of varied individuals of various backgrounds, who enjoyed the match and the events leading up to it. You aren't required to have a team, you know. It's just enjoying the sport and becoming a fan."

Regarding if that made for a special environment: "Definitely. The crowd out in London perform wonderfully of bringing the energy. Whatever squad shows the greatest intensity can steal the momentum and get the crowd, so yeah, it definitely creates a unique experience. It's almost like a university playoff. It's a unbiased location where it can turn either side, contingent on shifts in play and stuff like that."

"I really like the venue," he continued. "It seems like a great spot to perform abroad. The changing facility's excellent, the atmosphere when you enter, it seems as if the attention is focused on you. I'm a great enthusiast of playing in stadiums that feel good, especially the ones that we succeed in!"
