US President Donald Trump has stated he is raising import taxes on goods brought in from Canadian sources after the region of the Ontario government ran an anti-tariff commercial including ex-President Reagan.

In a Truth Social message on the weekend, Donald Trump described the advert a "deception" and condemned Canadian officials for not pulling it before the World Series.

"Because of their serious falsification of the facts, and aggressive move, I am hiking the Tariff on Canada by 10% on top of what they are paying now," he stated.
