UK Punter Wins £26 Million Euro Millions Top Prize
An individual British participant has won the £26m European lottery grand prize, lottery officials have announced.
The lucky combination selected on Friday night were 06, 12, 18, 25 and 41, with the Star numbers 02 and 06.
This marks the third European lottery top prize claimed in the UK so far this year out of the ten conducted to date.
Earlier this year, an individual claimed eighty-three million pounds, subsequently a £65m Valentine's prize. Both winners opted to stay anonymous.
Nevertheless, the successful player of the Saturday £10.6m UK Lotto jackpot has still not appeared.
A top consultant advised participants to check carefully to check their tickets and online notifications.
The winning Lotto numbers for last Saturday were: 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, 59 and the extra ball was 42.
"We are available to give advice and provide experts who can assist victors optimize the win for themselves and those close to them," the representative commented.
The EuroMillions win will be verified against the official rules, and once approved, the jackpot recipient will decide whether to reveal their identity.
Although granting them vast wealth, Friday's prize of twenty-six million pounds does not rank the player among the top European lottery successful players.
A jackpot of more than £183 million would have been required to earn a position in the top 10 list of jackpot prizes.
The top jackpot claimed by a UK ticket-holder is 195 million pounds in 2022, based on data from the lottery.
Even though it is difficult to secure a jackpot, it is easier than people believe to leave it unclaimed.
An individual failed to claim a £1 million win recently after missing the deadline for a lottery success within the 180 day claim period, meaning the cash was given to charitable causes.
The greatest EuroMillions jackpot to go unclaimed in the Britain was sixty-three point eight million pounds in the summer of 2012.
The European lottery is conducted every Tuesday and Friday evening across nine nations in Europe.
